The programme is part of our ongoing Afri-Canada Community Arts and Digital Literacy Project. The SSDLP is designed to involve 25 seniors to learn how to use cellphones, computers, and other means of digital communication to help in our daily lives.

Program Rquirements

Open for Seniors 50+ who are  African, and African Indigenous.

Free Tablet

Upon completion of the certificate program each senior will earn a free tablet.

What is the meaning of the Sankofa logo?

Sankofa is the name of a mythical bird of the Akan people of Central Ghana.

  • opening an email account along with other useful writing tools, and file storage
